Builder Lender of the Year

The 2019 Builder Lender of the Year Nomination requires the following:

- Nomination and approval of Regional Sales Manager or similar title along with Letter of Recommendation which should include why you believe the individual should be selected as the HBA’s 2019 Builder Lender of the Year, making note of HBA participation, events attended annually, committees served on, volunteer participation, community service and civic duties, etc. and how it has proven effective for your company and the local area.
- An excel spreadsheet which includes the number of units and dollar amount closed.
- At least 1 letter of recommendation from a builder, co-worker or staff on behalf of the nominee noting their personal/professional achievements in construction lending.

Sales Professional of the Year

The 2019 Sales Professional of the Year Nomination requires the following:

- Nomination and approval of Sales Manager or similar title along with Letter of Recommendation which should include why you believe the individual should be selected as the HBA’s 2019 Builder Lender of the Year, making note of HBA participation, events attended annually, committees served on, volunteer participation, community service and civic duties, etc. and how it has proven effective for your company and the local area.
- An excel spreadsheet which includes the number of units and dollar amount closed.
- At least 1 letter of recommendation from a builder, co-worker or staff on behalf of the nominee noting their personal/professional achievements in construction lending.
- An excel spreadsheet which includes the community name, number of units and dollar amount closed.
- Sales Professional of the Year should be an on-site agent. (see description below)

* An On-site Agent is defined as any agent who is employed by a builder, or employed by a Broker whose business is owned by a builder or builder group, or employed by an independent broker, where the primary source of income is generated by maintaining an on-site office for the purposes of marketing a builder's product in a specific community. An On-site agent primarily sells company listings or homes directly for a builder and is not typically involved in taking listings and/or acting as the selling side in general brokerage sales. Criteria: The amount of the purchase price will be the basis of credit for sale. If more than one individual participates in a sale, i.e. commission splits on the selling side, the credit will be divided proportionately. You receive full credit for a sale if you write the sale, even if there is a co-op realtor involved. For New Construction/New Home (New Construction/New Home is defined as first time ownership, built after July 31, 2017 and completed before September 1, 2019).
